SANERGRID supplied EDF Hydrostadium with a tailor-made turnkey system: the service included the custom-made design of a fire-resistant retention tank with SPI filter rainwater drainage system. The OCREV transformer was also provided by SANERGRID, as well as the manufacturing supervision process to match EDF’s specifications. Given the nature of the site, it was also necessary to create a retention volume via a fire-extinguishing tank instead of the traditional pebble pit. But to facilitate the installation and maintenance operations, SANERGRID designed and manufactured the rolling system allowing the adaptation of the transformer wheels in order to deliver a turnkey system: retention, fire protection and antipollution filtration of the rainwater from the tank.
The transformer is a 63 kV 250 kva with off-load tap changer, brand OCREV, a renowned manufacturer for more than 60 years, especially in the field of hydroelectric generation. Based in Vicenza, near Venice
DYNELEC company was in charge of the supervision and installation / start-up of the installation.
